Eastern Iowa
We did ours in-house, except for the concrete and overheads. Saved enough to buy a Skytrak as a bonus. 70x100 steel with a walk in, $58,000 delivered. 24x18 non-insulated overhead door on gable end plus 20x16 overhead on sidewall $8500 installed. Concrete footings, 4' wall, and half of floor $21,000 labor included. That's a steel building on a poured wall for the cost of a cheaper pole shed put up by somebody else. You'd have to add $50K just to get in the neighborhood of what Morton wanted.

Now don't get me wrong, it was a sunovabitch, and I could have been doing other things, like picking corn in early October when everyone else was. But now that it's done (except for some electric we are working on intermittently) I'm proud of the job we did.
