| I am pretty sure that when CaseIH first bought Steiger that you could get either, like the 9170 time frame of tractors could be gotten either way, then CaseIH quit that and they were all painted red, and there was some pretty hard feeling and probally some law suites also cause I was told part of the original agreement when Steiger was sold to CaseIH was to continue to offer the green paint??
Here is a pic of a newer one that was done for some anniversary, this one came directly from the factory this way, I also seen a Quad Trac in Steiger green but that was a repaint job on an older machine that was listed at Burco Sales same as the pink quad below.
