Why not just use unfaced bats? Seems like a lot of extra work.
I used batts in a building once. NEVER AGAIN will I touch the stuff. Too, ichy. Can't be good for the lungs, even if you "try" to wear a mask.
The R-value of blown fiberglass should be better then batts. If you have ROMEX in the walls, batts don't work that well either. |
