Beresford, SD | Deerefever. Build a 2*6 stud wall building. By the time your done insulating and lining the barn it will be cheaper and superior to a pole barn. Pole barns are better designed for cold storage. Depending on how often you open the doors every day will change heating plans. Build a shop...best money spent on the farm. I went out this am to feed cattle and had no doubt my equipment would start!
Edit. Build at least a 50x60 shop. Mine is that size and dads is a 42x48. Huge diffrence in usable space.
