From the outside, you'd never know I used ICFs.
I attached a 1x12 green treated board to ICF centered where the steel would meet ground level. I attached 2x4 nailers onto my 2x6 walls to screw the tin to. I offset the sole plate on the stem wall so that the 2x4 nailers would be flush with the 1x12 on the icf
