Freedom, WI | I am glad to hear that we are not the only ones who are hesitant to spend money. You are basically the same as us, so you will probably end up with a JD. We started looking at JD, then at Case, then McCormick and some New Holland, and finally bought a Deere that hopefully will last us a while without problems. You are right, it is just a process. Started out looking at a 100 horse to replace our IH but ended up with a 175 horse for our big tractor to "replace" our 4440. So good luck with your search.
In reply to a JD D series, we were priced a new 6105D, 2wd, no loader, and I don't think that one had emissions for something like $56,000. But like you, I wasn't crazy about it. | |
