| Thanks for your honest assessment.
But you're right it's a process, and without knowing me, you really won't understand. I like to search, research, and make the best decesion as possible. Always doesn't work out, but I'm not into rash decisions and I do the same whether I'm buying a tractor, cows, or a pickup.
My last pickup I brought was new, but it took me nearly 3 years of looking, searching, researching, and wheeling and dealing before pulling the trigger. And that's a new piece!
My problem with finding this tractor is I just can't seem to wrap my head around high houred tractors bringing what they're bringing. You're right a low houred machine may be a lemon or problematic as well, there's risk no matter what one does. I need and want a reliable machine, but I don't wanna spend that much either as I can't keep it inside when not in use...spending that much and watching it deteriorate in the sun and hail is going to kill me.
I guess I've seen too much used machinery that is supposed to be ready to go and well taken care of with a high price tag that has a high price tag and still needs a lot of work, and May or may not be problematic.
Just researching all my options. These McCormick machines look nice and simple, and are thousands of dollars less than a Deere or Case, even some used and they got a good finance plan and warranty. | |
