central, Il. | You might consider looking at your sprockets also. I too, run them until there is no more room to tighten. If I remember correctly, our service manager at our local dealership told me years ago, you can get by with just chains the first time. The next time you will need to replace both the chains and sprockets. Easy way to tell if the sprockets need replacing is to compare a used one to a new one and if the used one looks like it is "hooking", it's time to replace them. | |
