Western Wisconsin | It you want radials on the tractor, stay with the 18.4r34s, or go to 18.4r38s. Bias ply 20.8r34 tires go for about the same money as 18.4r38 radials. We wanted more ground pressure for our tractor, because we use it to pack silage so we went to the taller, narrower tires. Turns out we had some bad rims anyways, so it was a good deal we swapped everything.
Here are the prices from when we did it this past spring;
Bias 20.8r34 -$1,250 per tire
Radial 20.8r34-$1600 per tire
4 step up rims, 4 dual rims, and 8 18.4r38 radial tires, came out to $1,575 per tire and wheel. And they gave us $200 to take away all the old rims and tires.
