northwest tennessee | You were talking about loud noises and guns. All of the heelers I have had I got as puppies except one and they have all been scared of thunder and loud noises. All of these heelers that I have seen have common traits. You can read them pretty well once you get to know the breed by looking at the way they hold their ears and the look on the face and head. Mine works cattle and is a lot of help since I farm by myself. The worst enemy of a heeler is a vehicle. They have no fear of them and they are amused by them. That has gotten most of mine. They think they can turn them like a cow or stop them and it doesnt work. I notice mine just staring at me at times and I wonder what might be going through her head. It is like they idolize you. | |
