I have one in my 11 super crew. Air flow through the dash vents about doubles when you open the rear slider, but very little wind noise added by that power slider being open. As others say, works well when the temp is just so a little more vent air is nice without turning on AC or running the blower so fast..
Used to be on a short cab, the slider window made it handy to toss empty cans into the pickup box. ;)
