It seems all new pickups (all brands) have rear sliding windows... I can't see what the purpose is, except in a standard or regular cab pickup.  I'm just curious to why they are so popular that 90% of crew and extended cabs have them.  I think they would be a PITA to squeegee clean, and just more seals to eventually leak dust into the cab.



I am not sure where you got your numbers, but I believe 90% of long cab pickups do not have a rear sliding
window. I have bought several of them over the years and would not want one.
