Liberty, MO | On a 74 Chevy I had the vacuum valve on the frame that the cable hooked to failed and was no longer available, so I pulled the deal off rear axle housing, very carefully pulled shift lever, replaced it with shifter lever for electric shift, bolted on the electric motor, ran wires mounted switch , and was good to go.
Also had to plug some vacuum lines under hood, just not the ones going to brake booster.
Always thought, or was told when I bought it new that it was a 15,000 Chevy rear end with cast wheels, maybe I was misinformed, or lied too.
