The grain rigs are usually 40k or so. I would rather run axles than have crappy (er) roads. You have to remember we are surrounded by states that don't allw anything close to even those weights other than I think they can run into Wyoming. There used to be a truck running around that could haul some crazy amount of weight. It had the drive axles on a 10'1" spread and pulled a spread axle grain hopper with a lift axle in the middle of the trailer between the hoppers.
