Breckenridge, MI | If you wanted to stay east of the Mississippi your best bet would probably be to talk to Doug Brooks in Manchester, Mi and have him put some together for you. I believe that is the second largest sheep auction this side of the river. New Holland, PA being the biggest.
Idk what kind of pasture you have in Iowa but when I took a sheep management class at Michigan State he said to not put western ewes on eastern pasture, they're used to drier forages and don't have the rumen capacity to get enough dry matter from a lush green pasture.
Good luck, that's about 10x more sheep than I ever wanted to own
