NC Indiana
Maybe 1/2 a bu of wheat or cereal rye for fall/winter/spring growth plus 1/2 a bu of oats for fall growth. You could add a pound of radish if you want some compaction breaking/manure nutrient holding (if you're spreading right after chopping). A 1/2 pound of turnip and a 1/2 a pound rapeseed would give you a lot of top growth, with a smaller tap root and a branch root for fracturing. If you want to run radish, turnip, and rapeseed, then use 1/2 a pound radish, 1/3 pound each of turnip and rapeseed as you get 2-3 times more seed in a pound of turnip and rapeseed. If you're coming back with corn again, you could add a couple pounds of crimson clover.
