ecsd | Ok, I'll be the odd duck here and say they aren't that great of a tractor. Look on tractorhouse and there are a lot of 8010's with 3000-6000 hrs. on them and have been overhauled. I know there are a few with over 10000 hrs. that are original, but not many. I would not call a tractor that needed overhauling every 3000-6000 hrs. a "good" tractor, sorry! I think the 8000's had better engines, at least the early ones anyway. My 96 8300 with the 7.6 engine has 15000 hrs. and still going strong! I was going to trade my 8300 for an 8310 because my pto engages hard, but when I saw all the 8010's with overhauled engines I decided to keep what I had. I don't know anything about the 20 series but I would look there, they can't be much worse? |
