I would strongly suggest rods & main bearings if you have no maintenance records available. Delete EGR and get rid of stock junk VGT turbocharger, chances are if you do not you will be calling the Big Hook to get you off the road as I did.

PDI EGR delete, PDI Tune to reprogram for no EGR + a few extra ponies and a Holset HX60W turbo, this will require new manifold. I'd need to go through my receipts for manifold specs. With labor this could be $4,500 to $5,000. 7-7.5mpg, driving like Earnhardt...this is most of my setup on an 05 379exhd w/13 spd. My truck was 475 with factory settings, now it's 650 +. This setup will help the EGT's stay much much lower.

My advice is look for a 3406E or C15 (6NZ) CAT. They're sought after for a reason
