North Central Kentucky | We lived in the original farmhouse for 5 years while we were saving $. Once we were ready to build we looked into rennovating vs building and found building only about 20% more and allowed us to have a floorplan that made more sense. I would caution you to do your homework before you decide.
Also, we couldn't find a plan that had it all, so after looking at tons of plans we hired an architect to draw them from scratch. It was about $750 and we got exactly what we wanted. As a bonus, there isnt another one out there exactly like it.
Like others on here, the house is set up to have all the important things on the ground floor as we age. | |
