Roann In. | Mrs. B hit some really good points. We are in the process of building currently. I'm 61, really don't even want to consider stairs, my wife will have a bonus room for her photography above the garage, she can use it. The rest of the home is a ranch on a slab. Her closet will be made of concrete walls and ceiling, steel door for a storm shelter. We have no children at home, planning to retire and live the rest of our lives in this home so we spent some time looking and checking things out, (we hope) large front door, wide doorways, few hallways and the one we do have is wide, 3 beds 2.5 baths. I've built before but can be certain there is something we missed, just won't find it till a year or two down the road. Take your time and enjoy the process, it can be fun if you let it. | |
