I had a customer once who, right in front of me, pulled the filter out of his 4430, raised it above his head, & threw it at the front tire...dirt flew everywhere, of course, & he picked it up out of the dirt, pounded it on the tire a few more times, & put it back in...I just shook my head & walked away...that ol' 44 was amazing in that it even survived, It got run across the yard w/no oil in the engine, filled w/gas & run till it wouldn't start, turned up to who knows how much, & finally caught on fire...that was after the original owner went broke & sold it to his BIL...I kinda hated to see that guy go under, he (& his hired help) always made a lot of repair work for me..
