Funny you should post this, this morning. I just tried a new oatmeal type cereal. I bought it from a local bakery just down the road from us. Everything she makes is from the grains they produce. This has wheat, steal cut oats, rye, flax seed and more. It takes twenty minutes to simmer on the stove and I added a few raisins. I guess you can make a bigger amount and stick it in the frig and then when you want it, add the milk and microwave it and you have a quick breakfast. My sister had bought it about 6 weeks ago and she had to make a special trip back here to get more as she had run out and she said she was having withdrawal pains from not having it. No preservatives, so it is kept in the freezer.

But for dropping pounds, protein is your best bet. A couple eggs don't take that long to make.
