To activate a new Raven Slingshot field hub, you will need to take a few steps.

1. There will need to be a data plan active on the field hub. You can go through a local Verizon store, just beware they are not always sure how to set the field hubs up. They need to be set for data only and no text, etc. We recommend that you go through an Authorized Raven Slingshot Dealer. To find you nearest dealer, click on this link: https://ravenslingshot.com/find-a-dealer/. Raven Slingshot Dealers are trained to help you get the field hub going as quickly and as efficiently as possible.

2. Once the field hub has an active data plan on it, an authorized Raven Slingshot Dealer will have to connect to and program the field hub to connect to the cellular network. This can only be performed by a Raven Slingshot dealer as they have had the training needed to do this. Your local Verizon store will not know how, or be willing, to help you will this.

3. The field hub will need to be activated on the Raven Slingshot web site as well and that can only be performed by an authorized Raven Slingshot dealer.

These 3 steps are crucial before the field hub will be ready to use in the field.
