I love pay loaders and hate doing much skid steer work. tiny, no pushing power, no leg room, no lifting power, but they do there job.
but there are times when a guy has to sit in a skid steer for 8-12 hours a day. most of our skid steers are solid tires so they are even rougher, one thing is you are in a skid steer, if the road you travel is rough then smooth it out.
if you have to ram a pile to fill a bucket you are not an operator. as you push into a pile you transfer weight onto the machine. for feed piles face the pile and make a stock pile to load out of. | |
