Central IA | Bale it in the fall. When you get some regrowth spray it down. In the spring hit it with a hot burn down with your bean/corn residual and plant. You have 10 Years of soil structure built up... don't ruin that. Also if there's a lot of roots the worst thing you can do is till them up. You'll have a heck of a mess, as in spending the next five years picking that crap up. The best thing to do is leave them in the ground and let them rot. If it's rough try running a roller over it to smooth it up. | |
