Do you want to run different populations on each half of the planter?
What would you be using for a control system?
The OEM hydraulic drive puts one motor in the center, using a jackshaft behind the rear post lift cylinder to tie both halves together.
Does the planter have row clutches? There are good reasons for looking at clutches first, and hydraulic drive second, if not already equipped.
