Subject: RE: Property Tax . . .. .

central - east central Minnesota -

JRthefarmer - 11/28/2014 07:42 This is where is doesn't sound right. The property tax should have been mailed to her and paid. If it wasn't paid, she would definitely know. I don't know how someone else could get the county to mail them MY property tax bill. I'm not saying these guys weren't maybe dirtbags for what they were doing, but the paper trail should have led to her at one point. It'd be nice if she would reply and clear some things up...

In our county - they don't send out separated bills for the tax. especially 1/16th amounts - it goes to one (leading person) as "so and so", etel. It's up to "so and so" to divide it out and get the funds to pay the county tax bill.

This case isn't unique . . . there are generations of properties that have not gone through probate or taken care of properly when the time was there.

There is much more info needed, to help the OP with valid opinions/options/feedback.
