| My first thought is 20 years back rent and interest could make this farm largely yours if you want to fight for it. They may possibly claim they have used the property for 20 years so you have no interest under adverse possession. Who has paid the taxes may also come into play. Looks like the lawyers will come out well if every one wants to fight over it. I don't know how the failure to mention it will come into play. Either way it makes his family look pretty poor. | |
