Wish you luck Chuck. Sounds like you get yourself into predicaments like I do. One thing I might have suggested was to split the bird in half and grill rib cage down. I would also consider a hot fire to one side and the bird on the other side with a drip pan underneath. This would prevent flare ups. That might give you a fighting chance to make the dance at noon. Do please let us know how it worked out. BTW I volunteered to do a standing rib roast(aka poor man's prime rib) which I've never done before.....Happy Thanksgiving...Gary
