I have a quicken 2000 program that I bought during the Y2K scare.

Loaded records back to 94 on it. I don't close it out at the year end (just enter the dates in manually for end of year).

I can go back any year from 94 till now to find a transaction at the stroke of a key.

I think the newer programs make you buy another at the year end, so you might want to look for an older version.

As long as this one works I'll use it.

It's on an xp computer and I don't know if it would work on win8 or not. (wouldn't want it on win8 anyway....not secure enough for me)
