Manitoba | We usually do zero till our canola if there was any tillage it would have been a light vertical till. We seed at 4 lbs per acre and I only use $3 per application of spray not including the herbicide of course. My land rent is reasonable we rent most our rented land from the older generation. We are a larger farm and usually plant 5000 acres of canola so the programming etc works a bit for us as well. I believe that is not including a fungicide application as we usually don't spray but this year we sprayed about 3/4 of the canola as it just looked to good to risk. | |
