Marion, Ohio | In the late 90's a group of us use to go to south east S.D. (platte/winner area) bird hunting. Absolutely loved watching the fighter jets fly around!! We noticed that right after a sonic boom the roosters would let off a quick cackle. Anyone have an answer to why the birds do that? A few years ago my brother and I were out fixing tile. We both noticed a loud screaming noise growing louder by the second and out of nowhere a pair of A-10's flew right over top of us at treetop level!! We just stood there watching them disappear over the woods at the end of the field. That will always rank as one of the coolest moments ever. | |
