A SP balewagon will out stack a baler & HERE where baling time is LIMITED due to limited dew 1 SP wagon can keep up to 4-6 balers that only get to run 2-4 hrs in the morn. I have with a 1069 SP put over 10,000 bales a day in a stack more than once when conditions are right. But you have to get started in the morn & run all day. In heavy hay where you are picking in 1st on a 5 speed & stacking close 4 loads of 160 bales a hr can be done with a "fair" operator. Biggest problem is having enough bales.
I also have a truck mounted retriever that can pick the stacks up. BUT it needs 2' on both sides of the stack for the clamps & access to shove a rod between the stacks with 2 chains to keep the backs "honest" as you load | |
