| We were nt corn on corn until 3 years back when we had a cold summer season which took us for a loop. We switched to strip till and so far so good. We apply all of our fertilizer with the strip tillerin the spring and its mixed in a band about 6X6 inches. We are in a very sandy soil with a high water table, and always use seed treated with cruiser or poncho, etc. For us we have not had the problem with rootworm other folks had further South(yet). | |
