I thought about leasing and checked in to it. Do you lease by the month or mileage? Seems to me (and I can't remember the exact #'s) it got pretty pricey. It was by the month and for wheat, corn, and beans I would have had to rent 3 months and still provide the trailer. For someone with their own storage, that would require an even longer rental period. We run 3 trucks, but let me make it clear, they are by no means Pete 379's. Lol. But they do get to the elevator and back. 


It cost us 115 a day plus .12 a mile. Pay for 5 out of 7 days. Plus Ins.
It sounds high but when I look at my repair bills on my trucks that are paid for I spend that much or more a year before tires. These trucks don't break down much and if they do there's anothr one to take its place. If you rent by the year it gets cheaper.
