Looks good Spanky. Using bales that were a year old...how does the feed smell? Musty? Do the cattle slick the bunks with the added syrup? Interesting concept. I have fed up to 4 Lbs/head/day of ground corn stalks (after drought of 2012) in a grower ration......Had to scoop "trash" out of bunks once a week. (hope to never do it again) Get by really well feeding stalks when on a finisher as long as I would stay under 1.5 lbs a head per day. Does the syrup delete all of the bunk trash......just curious.
