Aggieland | From what I know Case is trying to make "dairy" size bales of cotton wrapped in plastic. As much as I dont like the rounds theres no way handling smaller squares is better. In my opinion Case is done in the cotton industry all together. They said they wanted to have a cotton stripper out by 2015 but then are not listening to the West Texas farmers that say it needs to be a basket stripper. Im curious to see what they have up their sleeve. I have a very very good idea where this picker is but Im not sure its going to change anything. Just based on the number of old IH strippers in turn rows here at one time IH had a good share of the cotton industry but I guess that was one of the things Case didnt want to really go after.
