jd6400 - 7/20/2008 22:15 ROUND BALES!!!!! Going throuigh the same thing you are Robert,have talked alot of my custumers into rb`s, a little modification to their lofts and their set! Been running Kenny`s system four yrs now and it is good but my storage is not set up for the system and I can`t afford storage space. Still need a guy baling, one on the loader and one hauling wagons......then a crew unloading. Went through a bunch of help last week on 7500 bales, I`m sick of trying to find help that is capable, oh I know , your not paying enough, yes I am 12.00 an hour is enough. May have a 570 and 15 bale grab and accumulator for sale! I love rb`s , it`s a 2 man operation. That is what I pay my helpers also. They like the money when I pay them but they don't seem to care if they work or not and even if they do show up there is no guarantee they will not quit on me in the middle of the day. Round bales would be great but my customers would not like them. They like being able to pull just so many flakes for each horse and would be scared at the thought of handling round bales. |
