Central Alberta | I always had more of a problem with angry sows with ones I bought. Some of the home raised ones the only danger of them was if they fell onto you while scratching their backs. But when I did farrow in a few huts I would feed the sow. Have a clothes basket with me grab the piglets quickly put them in the basket and get out. Had to do this within first few days after farrowing so they could be grabbed fast other wise would just skip teeth clipping and iron injection. Than castrate after weaning. | |
