I am in a similar situation and am leaning toward a Kuhns Accumulator. I thought at one time about using a NH Hay Stack Wagon, but with the variedfields and distances I have access to it would not fit as well.
I am looking at the Kuhns for one simple reason, it requires no hydraulics to operate like the Hoelscher and Steffens systems, plus you are not draggin hay on the grounf like the Netherex, Haymaster, and others. Remember that regardless of system you will be running over your field two times.
I'd keep on haying as I feel it is more profitable in the long run compared to row crops. Plus I love the fact that the price is not dependent on either the USDA or a futures market in Chicago, Minneapolis, or Kansas City.
