barry county mi | the key to a feeder that dont waste hay is the way they build the slats you dont want one that has straight vertical slats they need to be on a angle I believe about 12 inches at the top to right or left of the bottom of the slat a dyangle so calf or cow cant back straight out with head and mouth full of feed. or that was the way my cattle acted I sure most of you old boys know that but some of the young pups dont have much school in things such as this ha ha archie | |
