Subject: RE: Loader bucket vs. snow pusher

Floyd County, Iowa
I built my own pusher for the front of my little 5303 tractor. Started out with a pickup snow blade, put ends on it, made adjustable skid feet, and made the mounts for the loader. Less than $250 in it.
Move a lot more snow in a lot less time than with the bucket, but as mentioned earlier, turning, even with front end in gear, won't happen. I have the steel cutting edge and scalped the grass in places, so I cut a slot in a piece of 2" pipe and put that over the bit. No more moving gravel or sod.
