Breckenridge, MI | As for the bale processor I have no idea. However I did put this together and I think it's pretty similar to what you're talking about for a working setup. The barn is drawn open to the south and with the pens to the east but that's all easily modified with a few clicks of a mouse. The whole thing is set up for ease of operation, hence the catwalks around the whole thing but they could be smaller, say 3' from the outside of the barn to the inside of the tub so a 12' radius tub would fit in your 30' barn. The holding pen in the barn allows you to bring in a bigger group and then just take as many as you can fit in the alley at a time. Remember the sweep tub is a "passing through" place, cattle shouldn't have to wait in there for a spot in the alley to open up. As for length you could shorten it some but I'd definitely keep at least one angle in there so the cattle can't see the squeeze when they enter the chute. According to Temple Grandin there should be 2 animal lengths from the beginning of the chute to the first bend.
