South Central Kansas, Harper County | My son has expanded his starter pens, to a total of 4- 100 head capacity pens. Was curious, if those of you that have pens put up some type of barrier to keep cattle in pens separate? We have quite a pile of galvanized old corrugate tin we saved from tearing down an old barn year ago, and I thought that might be ideal to apply to the fencing between the pens. Or do you guys think it is important to keep different pens of cattle completely isolated from the others? If we use the tin, I was going to just punch holes in it and wire it to the welded steel corral panels. A person probably couldnt weld this stuff and expect it to hold for a long time, could he? Thanks for the replies.
