Hennepin, IL | We're kicking around looking at used 8124's and just wondering what conditions they work well in and what conditions they don't. If there are any around here, I sure haven't seen them, so nobody to ask. Not much livestock around here. I remember when I was at school (UW-Platteville) it seemed like everybody and their brother around there had one of these and got along well. We'd mainly be spreading composted manure in the summer and fall from the winter before, and also some of the fresh stuff during the winter. We feed hay in round bale feeders so there can be some waste around them that I would imagine may not work the greatest, but if need be we can stockpile that and let it break down some. Any thoughts/experience welcome. Thanks in advance. | |
