| have had this problem on and off over the years, never worried too much about it, put mail back in box or drop off at post office. last summer was getting worse. received a magazine for a neighbor with the same house number but different street name. the magazine was something like senior living (not really but something I picture someone over the age of 70 reading) and my wife and I are in our 20's. threw it in the mail box with flag up. 2 days later, the same issue was delivered to our box again. took a post-it note and pasted on it with our address in capital letters and the correct address in capital letters. he saw my wife a few days later and said that note wasn't necessary. clearly it was because that was the last time we received someone elses mail. | |
