Also I have heard of people running 5W-40 during the winter. I have not done. My tractors sit in the shed after Nov unless we get 15 inches of snow every week like last year. :-(
For years I would always use straight 10 weight oil in the winter months in my loader and grinder tractors. My dad used to do it so I just followed suit. Haven't done that for years however, just use 15-40 year round now. |
