Own small farm near Booneville, MS | If the carrier don't have sense enough to look at the address and know he/she is leaving it in the wrong box it is his/her problem. I would keep putting it back in the box and raising the flag. I might also let the neighbor know that their mail is being left in my box so that can complain to the PO that they aren't getting their mail in a timely manner. You'd think after the third or ninth time that the carrier would learn. Oh, I forgot, the mail carriers are on the gov't payroll so they can't be fired, no matter how bad of a job they do. I know, I know, the PO is a supposedly stand alone entity now, but that's another joke the politicians have foisted on the public. That's the end of my rant. |
