Middle Tennessee | Our cattle feeding consist of weaning calves for 60 days and shipping them to you guys. We now get feed delivered to us put in gravity wagon, we drag into a 353 mill and load into a 500 lb cake feeder and then auger into bunks. Since we are all old enough to be on Social Security, crawling around in a gravity wagon has resulted in some sprains and breaks. I see feed carts like the 68 deere and grain-o-vator and wonder what their capacity is, will feed pack in the bottom auger and result in problems or what other alternatives are they in the market. Also what would happen with a small grain cart ( 1210a deere) if you pulled out 500 lbs at a time. I buy feed in 3 to 5 ton lots for price breaks. I am not interested in a bin because of location to roads and electricity.
Thanks
