NW IL, Mercer County | I'm a novice when it comes to livestock. My family has always had cows but I've never been real interested in them. My dad is on vacation so I'm on my own right now.
What are some options for temporary cow fencing? Ive been using steel posts but I have seen some guys use white posts that look like plastic? Ground is about frozen now so looking at options for next year.
Also, what is a good way to stretch bar wire? Using 15.5 gauge and just pulling hand tight from post to post. Keep in mind this is just temporary around some corn stalks.
